A sewer inspection is only useful if the technician can correctly identify what the footage is showing. On-Time Plumbing provides organized diagnostics, high-resolution inspections, and straightforward recommendations based on the actual condition of your sewer line, not guesswork.
Our sewer camera inspection services allow us to evaluate the condition of your plumbing system from inside the line without unnecessary excavation or guesswork.
Using real-time video footage, our team can identify hidden sewer and drain issues accurately before recommending the right repair or cleaning solution.
Using a waterproof high-resolution camera attached to a flexible cable, we inspect the condition of the larger sewer line in real time without excavation.
A sewer camera inspection can identify:
Drain camera inspections focus on the smaller branch drain lines connected to sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets. Once we pinpoint the issue, we can provide the necessary toilet repair & installation or drain cleaning to get your fixtures working properly again.
These inspections are commonly used when recurring clogs or slow drainage continue affecting specific fixtures or areas of the plumbing system.
This also helps us:
Residential and commercial plumbing systems often require different inspection approaches depending on pipe layout, system size, and line access.
Our inspections help evaluate:
Using plumbing camera inspections allows our team to inspect complex piping systems with minimal disruption while identifying where problems are actually developing inside the line
Sewer line problems are often difficult to identify because the piping is located underground and hidden behind walls, slabs, landscaping, or concrete. Many issues develop gradually inside the line long before visible symptoms appear inside the property.
A sewer line inspection is commonly recommended:
A camera inspection provides a direct view inside the line, helping property owners make more informed repair and maintenance decisions based on the actual condition of the system. If you suspect high water bills or hidden moisture, we offer professional leak detection & repair to pinpoint and fix hidden plumbing issues before they cause structural damage. If you are experiencing issues beyond your sewer lines, we also provide expert water heater repair & installation for all makes and models.
Different sewer lines require different inspection equipment depending on pipe size, depth, access, and the type of issue inside the system. Our team uses multiple sewer camera systems to inspect everything from smaller residential drain lines to larger underground sewer piping.
These flexible camera systems travel directly through drain and sewer lines while sending live video footage back to the technician in real time. They are commonly used to inspect household drain systems, locate blockages, identify buildup, and evaluate pipe condition without opening the line.
Robotic inspection cameras are used for larger or more complex sewer systems where additional mobility and line access are needed. Lateral launch systems allow inspections inside branch lines and difficult-to-reach pipe sections that standard push cameras cannot fully evaluate.
Some sewer camera systems include locating transmitters that allow us to pinpoint the exact location of underground pipe problems from the surface. This helps identify where repairs are needed before excavation begins.

I was selling my house in Tennessee and the buyers agent hired Scott's Septic Tank Service to inspect the mainline and septic tank. Scott's told the agent that there was tree root intrusion in the mainline as it discharged into the septic tank and they took a cell phone photo of the "root intrusion." I personally opened the septic tank and found it to be hair that was sticking to the edge of the mainline. My agent then contacted Scott's to ask for video proof if the mainline had a camera run down it. They adamantly said it was tree roots and no video was taken. They estimated the cost, to rip us off, to seal the mainline from future "root intrusion" at $1400 on an eight year old house with no trees nearby. I called LEY Plumbing scheduled the next day for them to run a camera. They showed up earlier than scheduled and confirmed NO ROOT INTRUSION. The crew was very professional and courteous. We highly recommend them for service because they are honest. The photo was taken by Scott's Septic Tank Service.Posted on Google![]()
